These have been developed to reward, motivate and care for all our people, to build in them a sense of loyalty and regard, for the organization and to cause them to give their best.
A thorough induction program is conducted for new employees to make them comfortable and aware of personnel policies and programmes. A senior manager is assigned as a mentor to newcomers. The mentor guides them for the first three months and orients them with organizational culture and values. New employees are provided with a detailed job description to ensure clarity and comprehension.
Training We provide extensive training through in-house programmes as well as programmes conducted by invited faculty. Personnel Heads/Company Heads can sponsor candidates for such programmes.
Promotion We have a clearly written promotion policy, which addresses various promotion-related issues. It describes promotion and the parameters for an employee to be considered for promotion. It sets specifications for increasing job complexities with regard to abilities of employees. The policy clearly defines the types and degrees of complexities to be taken into account for promotion.
Welfare and Benefits We have several schemes and policies for the welfare of our employees and their families. These relate to accident insurance, loans, usage of company guesthouses and vehicles, service awards, etc.
Self-Development Programmes All companies of the ACG Group encourage self-development to help employees effectively handle their present assignments and to prepare them for increased responsibilities in the future. Employees are partially reimbursed of the costs incurred in gaining additional qualifications from reputed educational institutions.
Communication Meetings and Entertainment This policy has been evolved to create an opportunity for members of departments to discuss issues faced by them with their Head of Department (HOD), in a friendly atmosphere that helps to build their team spirit. Such communication meetings are held once a month. Departmental get-togethers are held in the HOD's house or in a suitable external establishment to help build stronger bonds between the HOD and his/her department members. Annual get-togethers are held every year, with the participation of employees and their families to create a feeling of belonging towards the company and foster a spirit of togetherness.
